Millennial making a major impact
The company, SMARI, has been around longer (36 years) than its president – 33-year-old Katie Ittenbach. But she is clearly in charge, both in the office of the market research organization and at home on her 60-acre ranch. We dive into the changing world of focus groups, the growing expectations of clients and the strategic work that accompanies the data. But the conversation goes much deeper as Katie shares insights on millennials, leadership at a young age and adapting the company culture. She advises to “be in the moment” and achieve balance in part by listening to “what’s screaming louder at the time.” This episode continues season three of IN Chamber, the Indiana Chamber podcast featuring conversations with business, education, political and technology leaders.
